Day 58 return o the Trevi fountain.

We felt we were allowed lie in today.

So we did.

We had breakfast at 9.30 woke Luke at 10.

Then we headed to a little known museum at the end of our road. It was low key but excellent and had some of the best marble sculptures I have seen though some were 17 century copies of originals. Being a throws coach the discoblus is an obvious one.

Then I had to show the boys some real culture. The lions v the waratahs.

When we met up we went to the waterpark outside Rome. It prooved difficult to get to and waited for a bus for 40 mins but we got there in the end and had a great time. For the kids it beat the museums anyway.

On the way home on the metro which was packed we got ton for one stop she had her bag opened unzipped but the thief could not have been that good as either anna had too much crap or she was not good at it.

We returned to the Travi fountain area and had the best dinner to date. For appetizer we had a plateful of cured beef with heaps of salad Parmesan cherry tomatoes drizzled with olive oil coupled with some pizza bread wow it was delicious. The kids had pizza and the owner even cut it up for them. For main anna had the best tasting seafood spaghetti with the best langoustine ever. My carbonara was excellent. I struggled to finish my 1 litre stein. Can you believe that.
